Oakenfold now Resident at Rain in Las Vegas!!

“Paul Oakenfold Presents: Perfecto Las Vegas” every Saturday night through Spring ‘09

(Las Vegas, NV; March 2008) – Las Vegas based N9NE Group proudly announces Paul Oakenfold, one of the world’s leading DJ/remixers, will be holding court at Rain Nightclub in his first Resident DJ position in the United States beginning this Fall. “Paul Oakenfold Presents: Perfecto Las Vegas” was conceptualized especially for Rain Nightclub, the 25,000 square-foot nightclub and concert venue at the Palms Casino Resort known for its special effects and international headliner acts. Named for his label, Perfecto Records, the show will take place every Saturday through Spring 2009. “This will be the most extravagant nightlife experience Las Vegas has ever seen,” says N9NE Group Vice President Michael Fuller. “It will include everything from video and audio entertainment, to performance artists, and props.”
Oakenfold’s residency starts immediately following the completion of his global “Greatest Hits & Remixes Tour,” a 20-selection strong collection of his seminal dance recordings and remixes that celebrates the career of an artist whose combined releases have totaled almost two million in sales in the U.S. alone. He is a two-time GRAMMYâ nominee, and his 2004 album “Another World” is the biggest selling dance albums of all time. His previous DJ residencies have been in the UK at Cream Nightclub and Home @ Leicester Square.
The N9NE Group’s dedication to diversifying the types of music played at its venues was a key factor in Oakenfold’s decision to sign on as Resident DJ of Rain Nightclub. “There is nowhere in America other than Las Vegas that I would want to be a resident DJ,” Oakenfold says. “It is the world’s oyster, and Rain Nightclub is where I belong.”
Rain Nightclub is located on the casino level of the Palms Casino Resort at 4321 W. Flamingo Road and features the N9NE Group’s signature VIP amenities including state-of-the-art sound, lighting, and ultra-premium bottle service. The multi-level space includes six private sky boxes, seven private cabanas, eight “water booths,” VIP rooms, elevated dance floors, and six bars.
